This is about my allotment and what has happened since I have acquired it, many years ago.

I will show you before and after photos, I don't know a lot about gardening and its only through doing things wrong that I have learned  how to do it right.

eg my first pond I decided to have because I own/rent two plots and because I work and make jewellery, it is hard work looking after them.

so I thought that having a pond would take up quite a large area, meaning  less to  manage.

my first mistake was that the soil I excavated didn't go straight into my wheel barrow, it went on the side.

it was a lesson to be learned.

I also never used a spirit level, big mistake it only looks bad it you look at the water head on, if you tilt your head slightly the water looks level...
